Ellen Truong is a Freelance Illustrator based in Philadelphia where she graduated with her BFA from the University of the Arts. She works mainly in watercolor and inks but never stops exploring what different mediums can give her. Her work is influenced from Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese art, specifically of their expression in nature. She’s traveled to Vietnam and Japan and has the goal of traveling while creating art and Illustrations along the way. She believes that there is art in everything and views the world as a bright canvas with a mess of different mediums and subjects.

She received the Richard C. Von Hess Scholarship her Junior year at UArts, granting her a trip overseas to just make art. She also has two brown electrical boxes on Lombard and South with her artwork wrapped around it.

She is open to any and all projects seemed fit for her so shoot her an email at etruongdraws@gmail.com or call at 484.548.3334
